Description: A bill to amend title XVI of the Social Security Act to provide that an alien is not qualified for supplemental security income benefits unless he has a permanent resident status in the United States and has continuously resided in the United States for at least 6 years, and to provide for the establishment of procedures which will more effectively prevent the payment of such benefits to individuals who become ineligible because of their departure from the United States.
